CHRIS WELCH

Chris rejoined Primus in 2014. Chris focuses on the firm’s investment activities in cybersecurity, education, and healthcare information technology. He is currently a Director of BioProcure & Prendio, BizLibrary, Cayuse, CORL & Meditology, Hayes Management Consulting dba MDaudit, Lightbeam Health Solutions, RxAnte, and Trilliant Health. Historically, Chris was involved with American Institutes (acquired by Ultimate Medical Academy), AOD Software (acquired by MatrixCare), Emmi Solutions (sold to Wolters Kluwer, AEX:WKL), EnableComp LLC (merged with Argos Health, a Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe portfolio company), ExactCare Pharmacy (acquired by Nautic Partners), Harmony Healthcare IT (acquired by Novacap), Healthcare Bluebook (acquired by Valenz Health), MEDHOST (acquired by Harris), PathGroup (acquired by The Pritzker Group), and Payspan (acquired by Zelis).

Chris previously worked for The Edgewater Funds, Chicago Growth Partners, and as a Senior Associate of Primus. Prior to joining Primus, he worked for Harris Williams & Co., a leading middle market investment bank. Chris received a BS summa cum laude in Human & Organizational Development and Economics from Vanderbilt University and received his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
